AKTI’s Interstate Transport Act (ITA), S. 1092, passed the Senate by Unanimous Consent on December 11th! We have tremendous bipartisan support for this legislation which will give traveling knife owners protection from varying state and local laws that they have never had before. With all the political wrangling on Capitol Hill over funding and the political shutdown, it was impossible to get any bills passed in the U.S. House of Representatives. We have made huge progress and will be working to get the Interstate Transport Act passed into law during the 116th Congress.
