Washington HB 1006 is dying its natural legislative death.

The American Knife & Tool Institute (www.AKTI.org) announces that it is preparing to publish and distribute the “AKTI State of the Industry” report. The report in 2007 proved to be instrumental in explaining the impact the industry has on American jobs and the economy to decision-makers.

AKTI is disappointed that the Boston City Council passed the ordinance requiring convenience stores that sell knives be licensed by the City.
