KA-Bar is the new owner of Ek Knives and is reintroducing the Ek Commando Knives. The first KA-BAR Ek Knife to be released is the Model 4. Made from 1095 Cro-Van, the same steel used in the KA-BAR USMC Fighting/Utility Knife, the Model 4 measures 12.625″ overall and features a 6.625″ double edged blade. As a nonprofit association, AKTI’s role is to be the reasonable and responsible advocate for the knife-making and knife-using community; educating, promoting and informing that knives are important tools.
