2020 was surely a turbulent year, but we managed to deliver many new knives in 2021 nevertheless, and we are pretty proud of them. It has been a great opportunity to work with many skilled designers who invented classic revisiting and fresh lines. You can check out the new line on Fox Knives’ website by clicking on the series title.
“The Suru was designed as a compact hardworking mini folder. A small knife with a full-hand grip when needed. The stout 4 mm blade and an almost full flat grind make it a strong but efficient cutter. The Suru is all the knife you need in most everyday situations where an edge is required. Great ergonomics, comfortable carry, super flipping action, and a very sharp blade will make this one of your favorite small knives to carry!” Jesper Voxnaes
2021 limited edition of the prestigious Suru designed by Jesper Voxnaes. Already a winner of the 2018 Blade Show in Atlanta as “Overall Knife of The Year,” with its famous version with carbon frame lock, the Suru has been revisited in recent years in models with aluminum scales and the model with titanium frame lock. For 2021 FOX Knives is pleased to present three new versions enriched with Copper grips, engraved with a floral pattern, bronze anodized titanium scales, and Artic Storm Fat Carbon fiber scales.
Suru is a Japanese word that means “to do” while YARU means “do.” The YARU is born from the consolidated experience of Suru and is inspired by the lines of the nordic design typical of Jesper Voxnaes. Designed to be a compact folding knife with a sturdy 4 mm blade and flat sharpening that makes it a strong and efficient knife, the Yaru will satisfy those looking for a medium-sized folding knife that is both durable and elegant at the same time.
The CPM S90V steel blade, a stainless steel obtained by powder technology that offers resistance to abrasion 3 times greater than a 440C. The scales are available in three different versions, the first in Space Coral, a particular compound of carbon fiber and copper, the other two in blue anodized titanium and stonewashed titanium. The frames are all made of titanium.
“My knife designs are obviously with the Nordic lines and feel. A clean, functional, almost minimalistic expression. All about the function of the tool.” Jesper Voxnaes

RYU and MONKEY THUMPER
Ken Vehikite of Black Roc Knives entered the world of knife making in 2013, fueled by a desire to create and a love for well-made blades. Self-taught and self-started, Vehikite’s commitment to unite powerful design with functionality has attracted the attention of knife enthusiasts worldwide. Vehikite and Black Roc Knives (@black_roc_knives) are based out of Elwood, Indiana, USA.
Designed around the ideas of simplicity and function. The RYU represents a stripped-down version of the Japanese-style tanto. TEK LOCK Kydex sheath, resistant and practical, thanks to the convenient clip that allows you to adjust the sheath for carrying the knife, both horizontally and vertically.
“I feel that the Monkey Thumper fills two needs I have in a knife. Being useful and being attractive”. Ken Vehikite
The MONKEY THUMPER captures some of the tactical feelings of a Karambit, with the more practical blade shape. Kydex sheath with adjustable rubber Belt Loop. The sheath can be used in both vertical and horizontal positions.
“Before doing any project, I try to understand the utility of the knife. Then I proceed with the design, trying to bring out my professional experience. Italico was born almost by itself… Following the novelties of the market, I always decided to design a very compact folder that expressed solidity from the first impact, once challenged. The salient features that had to be present were an excellent grip, a prerogative that I try to apply in all my creations, and a type of blade that was very usable even for heavy work, despite its small size. After the first sketches I made, ITALICO was born. The main features are the FRAME LOCK blade locking system, the opening of the same type flipper, which facilitates use with one hand, the presence on the blade portion of a thumb rest section, in fact, for use in heavy work. The bevel of the blade is full height to accentuate the cutting skills, also aided by the shape of the cutting edge’s slightly crescent-shape. Great attention was given to the use of the materials used for the construction.” Antonio Di Gennaro

BLACKFOX
Small and light EDC. The Ciol is a utility knife for various daily uses designed by Denis Simonutti, a young designer from Maniago already known for the award-winning Radius, winner of the Blade Show as “Overall Knife of the Year” 2019, and as Product Design at the Red Dot Award.
“Modern slip joint but with an ancient flavor, the Ciol wants to follow the “generation” of knives that our grandparents always kept in their pockets, and that they used for any job throughout the day.” Denis Simonutti

“I always try to incorporate beauty, creativity, and above all functionality into my design. “When I designed the EXPLORATOR I had in mind a compact, light, comfortable and versatile fixed blade knife, which would allow all the necessary processes for outdoor activities such as camping, hunting, bushcraft, hiking. The knife has a modified drop-point blade. The tip is very sharp; however, thanks to the protruding false counter-thread, it is also robust; It is, therefore, ideal for drilling precise and deep holes and incisions and can also be used successfully in hunting activities. The handle, consisting of two micarta grips fixed to the full tang shank with two through screws, is designed in such a way as to allow a firm, comfortable and safe grip even for long and demanding jobs, not only in the classic hammer grip but also in the advanced grips useful for precision work, or in the reverse “chest” grip ideal for power work. The BlackFox EXPLORATOR is supplied with a well-made and safe Kydex sheath, designed for vertical and horizontal belt carrying and a lock for lighting the fire. The BlackFox EXPLORATOR allows with great ease all the processes and the realization of the artifacts necessary for outdoor activities. The back of the blade has been left especially flat, with 90-degree angles, and can be used both for the use of a steel and as a scraper, for debarking branches, and for creating very thin shavings, ideal as a trigger for fire. Despite the weight and small size, it is also possible to use the EXPLORATOR in the rear grip for light chopping or batoning.” Alfredo Doricchi
Blackfox is pleased to present the REVOLVER with D2 carbon steel blade. The D2 carbon steel has high wear resistance, high edge retention, low oxidation, and moderate strength.
