New models available to consumers through the first half of 2021
Benchmade Knife Company jumped into the New Year with a release of fourteen new knives of all shapes and sizes for both recreationists and professionals who demand the best, most reliable equipment in the field. The release includes a new Gold Class Tengu Flipper, the brand new ClaymoreTM, an expanded Bugout®, and Mini Bugout® family, a host of new additions and updates to the Adamas® line, and the long-awaited release of the Mini Osborne, celebrating 20 years of one of Benchmade’s most iconic designs.
The new 9070SBK ClaymoreTM sets a high bar for closed breaking strength, making it the toughest Benchmade folding knife to date, not to mention being the first Benchmade to use CPM-D2 blade steel. Beyond that, the entire Adamas® family of knives has been revised, with the blade steel moving to CPM-CruWear, super-strong tool steel, and the weight being lightened without reducing the strength.
In a year that has been anything but typical, Benchmade released the new-for-2021 knives to its audience via YouTube, racking up nearly 20,000 views of the release video. The approach was a response to the cancellation of in-person shows but helped bring the excitement of a release to a wide audience of fans.
In addition to the new knives, Benchmade has also added two honing tools for either standard 20-degree edges or the 14-degree SelectEdge™ styles. To see the full collection of knives, head over to Benchmade.com.
