Did you know you have the chance to win a sweet knife AND help AKTI meet its goals simultaneously?
Every month, we hold a knife auction on our website. Proceeds from these mini-auctions help fund our legislative advocacy efforts. This month, we feature the “Raider Creek EDC” from Badfeather Knives—a recently introduced, unique, “sheathless,” and pocket-friendly fixed-blade knife that is creating quite a buzz in the knife world.
Featuring a CPM-S35VN blade and a titanium handle, the Raider Creek (MSRP of $298) was invented by Badfeather founder Dan Vorhis. The knife has a single blade/tang component, entirely U.S.-made. It moves through a titanium handle with associated hardware and locks into place with a lever bolt. The titanium handle and associated hardware are made by Race Wy’s team in Taiwan.
Badfeather is based in Freeland, WA. Earlier this year, a bill in the Washington State Legislature that would allow retailers and manufacturers in Washington to sell spring blade knives (automatics) died in the House after passing in the Senate by a comfortable majority. AKTI is evaluating what the issue was and will be back next legislative session.
If you haven’t already, you’ll need to register to bid on this beauty. AKTI members need to log in to bid.
