AKTI is a 501(c)6 nonprofit association. Dues or contributions to AKTI are not refundable. They are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes but may be deductible as a business expense, subject to restrictions imposed as a result of lobbying activities. The IRS requires that we inform members of the estimated non-deductible amount.
For 2023, we estimate the dues allocable to lobbying to be 52.71%.
